The whirligigs of the early colonial days were a comical weathervane and still are today.
Most whirligigs are 16 inches long by 11 inches high, constructed of solid white pine (no plastic or plywood), sealed with durable acrylic enamel paints and painstakingly finished with silk-screened and/or hand-painted detail. A lightweight fan (14 inches in diameter) drives the action. The base is free swinging. Our whirligigs are tested for functional integrity prior to packaging, ensuring enjoyment for years to come.
